About Foam Fire Defense

Foam Fire Defense is a privately held company that manufactures residential and commercial Compressed-Air-Foam systems (CAFS) designed primarily to save your home or business (pre-suppression) in the event of a wildifre in the Wildland Urban Interface.  Stephen Crump, the founder, has developed a patent-pending design that will reliably provide versatility, efficiency and ease of use for the customer to protect their values at risk.

About the Founder

Stephen Crump has years of experience designing and developing CAFS and more than 15 years experience in all aspects of wildfire management with the US Forest Service and privately including initial attack helijumper, hotshot crew boss, air service manager and fuels management.

For the past 2 years, FFD has extensively tested the Aegis CAFS, a highly advanced and completely self-contained auto-proportioning system. 

FFD keeps the home and business owner, who is at risk to wildfire, clearly in mind and designs systems that are as simple and reliable as using a garden hose, but with the impact of a fire truck!
